Cactus Ranch Elementary School The Second Grade team at Cactus Ranch Elementary is participating in a global engineering course with students from around the world! In this course, together with their global partner, students learn fables, stories and myths from different cultures – and then explore how they can re-engineer the outcome using household and crafting materials! Today’s challenge was to create a structure for a raw egg that would protect the egg from cracking at any height of a fall. Students in Dwyer’s class tested their structures this morning. Students had so much fun watching other student’s structures and testing their own. They will communicate and compare structures with their global partners this week! #cactusranchelementary #rrisdtech
