Cactus Ranch Elementary School The KLRU KIDS Writers Contest is a local contest designed to promote the advancement of children’s reading skills through hands-on, active learning. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade were encouraged to write and illustrate stories and submit them to KLRU. Two of Ms. Jones’ 4th grade students have featured stories on this site!
